Annnnnd...we have a baby!!!!

So today was the much anticipated ultrasound. I was very nervous, so much so, that my BP was slightly elevated. The NP was very, very nice, answered all my questions and concerns and held converstions with us like we have been friends for years. So by time the exam started my nerves had subsided a bit.

After the exam she then proceeded to do the internal sonongram and almost immediately a baby appeared on the screen. The little gummybear was turning cartwheels and rolling all over the place. It truly brought tears to my eyes. DH and I just stared and smiled at the screen the entire time. It took her a while to get the measurements because the baby was so active. She did finally get it at 10W and 3D(I must have ovulated waaay early that month), based on my LMP,I should be 10W and 2D... so we are still with the due date June 4, 2011!!! Now I just need the next two weeks or so to fly by, so I really can exhale!!!

So true to my word, after the appt. I went straight to the mall and purchased a bella band, a pair of maternity yoga pants for lounging and a new bra. I found the pants on sale for $4.99 regularly $19.99 and the bra at Victoria's Secret for $17 regular price $45, but then they had it on sale for an additional 40% off, plus I had a $10 off coupon and got a free panty. I love a good deal. SO overall today was a very good day and I can't stop staring and smiling at the pics of my gummybear!!!!
